The 18.40 at Windsor looks an interesting race, with an interesting market too.

Wothout doubt those horses drawn low are at a disadvantage today, and it's better if we concentrate of those drawn high, in form and capable over the trip.

The favourite mertis respect being from the bang inform Hannon yard at his favrourite track. Drawn 8, he can go well, but he will have to show improved form to win from his current mark, and being held up in this race may not pay dividends.

Elsewhere, Zero Money should be double th price. Granted he is unexposed, but he's drawn in two and on top of that has Steve Drowne booked. He knows how to get a horse beat.

Sarah's Art is another held up and needs a career best. I fancy there wont be enough pace on for this admirable gelding and often at Windsor, there may be trouble in running this evening.

Anne of Kiev is also held up and also yet to win over 6f or on turf, that said on breeding she may appreciate this better ground.

Thunderous Mood has a good chance, although drawn in 7 he may have his work cut out, but he should be able to get a nice posi with so many held up, but does he want it this quick?

Lodi is well drawn, but is also held up. Desert Icon has a good draw, but is in awful form when last seen. Ebraam is best on the AW. Daddy's Gift needs soft ground. CMon You Irons needs help from Hcapper. Etc etc.

This leaves us with a slow pace and one runner that catches the eye.

Phantom Whisper is undeniably well-handicapped having won off 91 twice in 2008. This sone of Makbul goes on a vairety of ground, is well drawn and is versatile groundwise. The stable is in top form having had two from two yesterday, and this nag goes well at the track.

The stable often so well here and another Makbul offspring (Makabul) from the smae stable made it his second home with three wins here in 2007.

A big run is on the cards, and I think the 20/1 available is a great bet.

"He knows how to get a horse beat" - that made me laugh..... He might know how to get a horse beat, but it sort of depends on the horse, don't you think?
