Presvis won this race last year and turns up again with every chance of doing it again. Ryan Moore has got out to Hong Kong for the ride after fears he might not make it, and his record on Presvis is unreal. He only seems to win with Moore on his back.
He bolted up in Dubai before meeting a wall of horses in the big one and eased when beaten; given a shocking ride that night and Ryan Moore has the nack of weaving him through these fields close to home. Back up to 1m2f in the morning instead of the 1m2f trips he ran over in Dubai.
Lizard's Desire the only real danger for me, but his improved form all came on the Tapeta surface in Dubai so no idea if he'll be as good on turf.
saw in the rp that zac purton is on standby to ride presvis tomorrow...might be best to wait till tomorrow morning and just make sure.
I think the percentage call is that he'll ride.

excellent 10f group1 form. holds a few of these including Presvis. something else intrigues me...i was looking at the declared weights for all the horses and Collection is almost 100lbs heavier than presvis. cant be fat cause he's had 3 runs this year.....so must be muscle...bigger stronger horse.
didnt know he's be 5/2 though.

Where the pace comes from is a big issue, as nearly all the fancied runners need to be held up, with only Lizards Desire that'll want to be anywhere near the pace. He could pinch it from the front if it's run at a crawl and turns into a sprint.
Think I'll leave it alone and just kick myself when Presvis sluices through the field!
Ryan Moore is definitely there and rides.Where the pace comes from is a big issue, as nearly all the fancied runners need to be held up, with only Lizards Desire that'll want to be anywhere near the pace. He could pinch it from the front if it's run
Seems absurd to me that the owners of Presvis don't enter a pacemaker for his races. Time and again when he loses it's because of lack of pace. I only hope we get to see him run in the UK this year, hopefully at Royal Ascot. Given a decent pace, he's different gravy over 10f.

I'm not sure jockeys should ride when not 100%. Especially in such high profile races. If Ryan rode Presvis after a long flight overnight an he had a smash in the face yesterday and had to pass the doctor. He just seemed a little ponderous at the back and then ran on very strongly.

of course Ryan is a world class jockey, I just wonder however given the lack of pace in the race he should have made more use of him earlier
Only my opinion of course
