Some ATR e-mailers were comparing it to the Ringsend Rose race at Chepstow....Only this time there wasn't a horse and jockey on the landing side of the fence, with a vet running towards the horse.

I dont mind connections who inherit a horse and improve it from a poor trainer, then realise its well in and have a good gamble.
But trainers who run horses with the aim of getting the mark down for a large punt, its not fair on the punters whilst the horse is 'not trying'.
However, I do think the handicapper is too slow to bring horses down when they have gone up lots from a few good runs.
I think in the next few runs, William Butler (Evan Williams) will be another to fit into the .... "We now have it ready to win" bracket, if you see how the horse was ridden last Sunday.
