Sonko - if thats your actual opinion then you will have gone down in a fair few peopls estimations.
of course the horse was going to lose the race BUT (and its a big BUT), that was very much an exceptional circumstance. Unless of course youre trying to wind people up. |

Bit harsh on the guy thats lost his stack and sees a thread like this....to be honest would be the last thing I would want to have making me laugh tbh

Sorry for the backers but 'connections' to Pipe have it coming.
By:
Obviously it is terribly bad luck for the people that bet it, the smiles are aimed at the trainer getting this horse handicapped.
By:
Delighted to see the Pipe handicap fiddle burst, just as much as I am to see the Handicapperput Ashkazar back up another 10lbs for his last win.
The trainer is a crook with handicappers. |
By:
Some ATR e-mailers were comparing it to the Ringsend Rose race at Chepstow....Only this time there wasn't a horse and jockey on the landing side of the fence, with a vet running towards the horse.
:o |
By:
quantize, you only have to see that ashkazar is aimed at listed event next.
I'm all for connections having it off every now and then. |
By:
whats more the horse put in a very bad jump at the last took off too early and landed on the stake holding the hurdle up ,could well be injured
By:
I dont mind connections who inherit a horse and improve it from a poor trainer, then realise its well in and have a good gamble.
But trainers who run horses with the aim of getting the mark down for a large punt, its not fair on the punters whilst the horse is 'not trying'. However, I do think the handicapper is too slow to bring horses down when they have gone up lots from a few good runs. I think in the next few runs, William Butler (Evan Williams) will be another to fit into the .... "We now have it ready to win" bracket, if you see how the horse was ridden last Sunday. |
