I think it was staged. Evan is so much of a crook he was by the side of the hedge waving a sugar lump. :-) No that was just a disgraceful ride. Would and should have won easily. Maloney your a wingnut.

2nd fav was beaten a lap out, evans horse stayed at 3/1 or so even though travelling best
still didn't go fav before the turn when maguire ride under the stick looking beaten and only a 16/1 shot to deal with
looked a tens-on chance down the straight but didn't even go 1/2

agreed dgc1. but maybe the in running punters knew it was a hard pulling type. In any case, you dont get a horse beaten like that. He gave it a good ride until the second last....

It was very bad judgement to challenge on the insode when the horse was already hanging . Moloney just strying to be smart I really don't like to see a jockey going obviously best still waiting to make his challenge until after the last fence. If he hit the fence he would have had no time to recover anyway with the short run in at Uttoxeter. A rank bad ride from 2 out. A Richard Johson or A.P. come to that would have made his challenge on the other side and made sure he was 2 lengths clear by the last. You cannot trust the Maloneys, T. Murphy's , B. Hughes of this world as they always want to win by half a length on the bridle. IDIOTS!
