at the moment they are trying to get here heads around turnover they may lose but when the realize that the IR punters are not usual punters in the true meaning of the word although once in a shop they may place an odd anti post arb.

waytiwin ,the exercise here is to ascertain the delays at ATR , nothing about you winning .

600 - 1200 per race on average....but I pick my races carefully ;)

The Northen Pro , you are telling me the home users of SIS is paying £675 a month to have a 1.8 second advantage on ATR . I am not having that for a second .

the others are getting a bigger delay launne because there ATR is through cable not sky, SIS all the same

believe cable is another 2 seconds slower

the delay for atr and ruk from sis and turf tv are now about the same. once ruk was only .75 of a second behind don't know why it has been slowed down

when I was chopping it off 18 months. I never ever bothered talking in seconds only yards,

luanne ruk and turf tv still under a second difference at kempton today, about .8 sec

The only information missing is the delay , if they are an upstanding peoples channel , they should say the time lag on each track on each day of SIS to their broadcast time . All agree .

Let me put it this way , five guys are running a 100 meters of roughly equal ability and the guy in the middle is give a 50 meters start to the rest of them . It does not take a brain box that if this race is run 10 times ,the guy with the 50 meter start will win 9 of the ten races , the 1 he loses is when he trips over and falls .

No i the first bet they will all bet 1.1 on and the second race he will be evens, no more races after that.

Been going there more or less since the other one in Warrington closed. The Causeway lads contacted Victor (owner of the other shop), and he got in touch with me. Hadn't heard of them before so glad he did. Definitely preferable to playing from home mate.

it was a short term lease.....very short....a month renewable/or not.
Vendor decided exchange trading not suitable to the building....strangers passing in and out when everyone else gone home.

Deeppockets , I would rather Pay SIS the 675 a month , rather then have the hassel of going to an exchange shop every day . If you say it cost 50 a day , in 30 days = 1500 plus parking , plus fuel and lose of time . They are rather expensive . I can handle the delay , but some are not in that fortunate position .

Does anyone still have the raw SIS stuff? if they do then its defeating the purpose a bit raelly.

I can see why this delay nonsense resulted in your trek to all those exchange shops ;)

I play in running for a living ... of course I am going to try any new angle ... I just found that given the way I play my results didn't improve significantly ... I enjoy going for a few weeks every now and then to get out of the house but I can't justify the expense on a daily basis. By the way in my opinion the lads who are still in the shops are there because they know racing and work at it not because they have the fastest fingers.

Just read the thread, been to Wetherby which I think has only been open a few weeks, they offering free trial, costs £25 a day, facilities good, and I found it lot easier than from home, free drinks as well!

is it busy harry? i intend to give it a go next week.

whether you think you know racing or not,horses surprise you in most races....its the prices you play at that count in the long run
and I would imagine anyone using faster pics does so to allow them to manage any position they take quicker.

Flanders, was fairly quiet when I went in mate, though think they only been open a few weeks, speed and set up seem spot on though, all very professional etc
