This is not necessarily a no bet race. BC's money has to be followed and if you had spent your punting life just following his gambles you would be well in front. It never ceases to amaze me how much Curley gets critised on here when in actual fact he is a money making machine for anyone with a modicum of common sense. Ralf is quite right, you can't 2nd guess him and you wont get the best price if you wait, but wait you must and after all a winner is a winner whatever the price.

You're right kigscliff, but you have to wait and see what Barney does. Both horses have the right profile for a punt. I knew the owner of a 3 year old maiden once and he told me of the plan to run it 3 times and have it slowly away on each occasion and then win with it 4th time out. It's form read slowly away, dwelt, dwelt, it's as easy as that and there's nothing the stewards can do. 4th time it bolted up. Look at Securitisation and Kanace and you see similar form lines. I reckon that Barney might have a word with Williams before the race, don't you?

Williams has had the word. Barnery, a gracious man gave him the call this morning, he doesn't like seeing fellow trainers lose and bookmakers win.

Thanks Barney. Now Let's get on your nag, when the price is right, of course.

Official reason for Kanace withdrawal.......Burst Blood Vessel (Self Cert.) @ 12:22pm.

BURST BLOOD VESSEL.......before the race!!!

Could be trainer instead of horse......trying to get the money on.!!!
