Mr Alan Didlick -

I sincerely hope nobody has taken your advice and bet beyond their means on the strength of your post.

As an owner and someone who is involved in racing, you should be fully aware of the dangers and pitfalls of gambling beyond your means.

Although you and your little school pals clearly think your posts are amusing, they are infact, totally irresponsible and completely thoughtless.

As an owner of a racehorse, coming on here advising people you don't know, to effectively gamble beyond their means, shows you for the kind of individual you really are.

You certainly don't have any intelligence at all, as you clearly give no thought to your ludicrous statements and what effect they could have on some people.

For someone claiming to be 59 years old, and as an owner of a racehorse, your actions are completely irresponsible and unacceptable.

When it comes to gambling, some people can't think rationally, and desperate times can often mean desperate measures - As such, your original comment could possibly have persuaded someone to have their rent money on, or money set aside for something else.

Clearly that doesn't enter your tiny little mind when making such ridiculous statements.

Rest assured, your original post has been forwarded to Betfair, and has also been forwarded to the BHA, as im sure they would like to know about the totally irresponsible actions of owners.

££££ hey??, if somebody has the brains and nounce to open a betfair account and come into this forum, im sure they are big enough and ugly enough to realise that was said tounge in cheek,.

I do commend you for your veiws ref problem gamblers, well done on that, but may i surgest florence that you take your candle to another ward, patients spinning the endless roulette wheels up and down the land are in much greater need of you asistance than us nutters on here.

"Everyones got an opinion" Yours is as valid as anybodys. . . but come on please.

Plenty of rent money**ed in roulette land is there not??

^ Agrred.

However, this thread doesn't relate to, nor are we talking about roulette land.

This thread highlights the completely senseless and irresposible comments made by someone who should know better.

You might think such comments are humerous, however, the desperate man that might have just done his rent money in on the strength of them, probably doesn't agree right now.

There's certainly no harm having a bit of fun and banter over the forum, however, gambling problems are serious issues to some people.

Advising people you don't know to bet beyond their means just shows the type of person we have here.

For a man approaching 60 years old, who is involved in racing, Mr Dicklick really ought to be above making such comments.

£££££ Right have found specs-- Your obviously a very sad person -- if you can't understand my drift. I have no worries about who you send my posts to I have nothing to hide.
- Why do you thinik a horserace owner should not voice his opinion - For your information being a horse race owner does not make you different - all it does is give you an added interest in a sport you love. The owners are the backbone of the sport - without them you would have no forum. Owning racehorses also makes you poor. try it sometime.

I have no problem with you, or anyone else voicing their opinion, that is what a forum is for.

However, i firmly believe you should give a little thought to how you voice it.

Post your tips / info or whatever, and leave it at that - All the amateur dramatics that go with it are very irresponsible.

There will be some on here that take your comments on board and bet accordingly.

think the problem is diddles not your opinions but the way you word them(dont bother the older/more ex punter) but some young lad might think jeez look at this post and 'lump' on,yep i know you didn't twist his arm to go ball deep but it could happen.Like i say no problems with your opinions(quite enjoy them at times) but i think tis the way it comes across.

Bit long winded but hope you can see where i am coming from.gl

£££££ how come you know so much about the mind of gamblers? do you have a problem with Gambling? Do you really think Bookmakers have a responsible attitude to gamblers in bother. I don't think so -- If you are the Gamblers friend go put your effort behind trying to stop Ladbrokes from enticing problem gamblers to use fruit machines and offer free bets to start the addiction.

Do i think Bookmakers are responsible re FOBT's etc - NO !

But you continue to prove that YOU are just as irresponsible as they are.

Anyway, i have given my opinion, i shall now refrain from making further comment.

Roulette addiction v diddles posts?? £££££S I agree with you total, but wrong tree barking up it springs to mind, do as i do and explain to every spinner you come across, that every single spin they make 3% of (i think thats the correct figure?) bookie wins . . .
not that they will listen, but you can only try.
