It does. That said Denman's peak rating certainly won't have been obtained going right handed on good going!!

If the horse is on a going day it will win easily.

Key thing is how its travelling when McCoy has to kick on on the final circuit

if you dont act on track and ground ratings are worthless,his rating was earned on his fav track and going,his closet conditions to today would be at kempton last season what was his rating that day

He's been right handed four times. Won three times. The time he lost, he was beaten so far by MDB that the result could not be purely attributable to going right handed. Just my opinion.

I think he should be odds on, but I am just one opinion of many.

he did n't beat much but then one defeat when clearly not on a going day is n't irrefutable evidence that he does n't go right-handed either, would n't you agree?

You could arguably read more into the fact that he's only raced right handed four times - might suggest connections think it's an issue.

My point is - it does n't pay to be too dogmatic about these things.

Not been right handed much as Newbury and Cheltenham is where the big targets have been for him, and Kempton is left for Kauto @ Christmas

In two of his right handed wins he hung left, quite badly on one occasion. There are ifs about all the other runners too though. No bet race for me.

Cooldine is a 10lb better horse this way round.

That's one way of looking at - another is that his sporting connections took their chance and did n't disappoint the paying public as opposed to Joncol's who have no more information about whether their horse goes on the ground or not. They gonna pull him out on Gold Cup day if it's like that?

The horse was never in danger and (the swerving aside), that's as well as I've seen him jump in defeat.

what do the crowd have to do with it? horse's welfare should come first. Simply not Denman's conditions and not what he deserved after his great effort in the GC.

they're race horses - they're meant to race - it's part of the entertainment industry - the paying racegoers and punters fund it. Without them there is no racing.

Horse has had four races this season. What harm do you think he has suffered?
