Very interesting race for me.
Think the race wil be won by the horse who is over past recent races.

Notable no-one has mentioned Kalahari, for whom conditions are ideal, and should be fresher than Paddy who normally has the beating of him.
Twist magic was a lie down in a weak renewal in this race in 2008, and didnt impress that day, beating a stablemate rated some 20lbs inferior to him. Defnitely best after a longer break.

Like Sizing Europe, and at a price Barker who impressed greatly at this meeting last year.

Great jumper but now has more folds than a hospital blanket. If only Somersby had been given a more aggressive ride...

flyingbolt :^0 I'm not part of the gang, you should know that, I just think it's good craic in the morning seeing people getting their knickers in a twist over nothing.

These characters add a bit of colour, imo. Its when people take them seriously that the problems start.

Are you going to Punchestown this week.

Applies to many on here. imo :D

Good morning Campers -- whats all the fuss about - the horse ran reasonably well- lots had other opinions on the race (those brave enough). I didnt see many chose the winner b4?
Sizing owes me nothing - i had had a very nice winter following his progress - It's a shame he was not up to yesterdays task- But even Arkle got beat once or twice. Hes won all of his chase races Bar finishing 3rd yesterday.
For those who wan't a go -- fine . you always like to have a dig. It's like water off a ducks back.
I for one had a very good day yesterday 5 large ones in the till - if Sizing had won it would have been near 20 - hey ho - im chilled chaps

Flyingbolt or as dids calls u BOLTHEAD-- Diddles is not an in running punter- for one his fingers dont tap tap as quick as most- and he never trades out of a situation unless hes @ least 50% in on price- then its only last minute b4 the off - as the liquidity on betfairs not available till late.
He has no idea what price Sizing Europe traded @ in running- as he was licking his wounds after 4 fences. Horses are not machines. But would like to remind others that this horse was put up by him to win the Arkle @8-1 way back before the event. Now other than one person on here who thinks Somersby would have beaten him given a more forceful ride. I doubt if anyone on earth would have backed against him@ more than evens from 5 out @ Cheltenham in March- even with stolen money!!!

Hats off to HDB and Alan Potts for having a go at the big boys. Hats off to SE for giving his best. I wish I had the good fortune to own such a brilliant animal or one rated 20lb behind him. Also while were at it Well done to a worthy winner and the Mullins camp who shut a few critics up yesterday.
