need help with mistaken bets

friend ofmine did two doubles today in ldcrooks, in both dbls the horses were in same race.

are bets void or does he get paid at 1/2 stake on each horse?

All bets void but gets a free cup of bovril on a string tied to the nearest FOBT, so not all bad :-)
