I thought it was a bad ride. I thought he should have have been kept handier as he would always have been staying on at the end. Ruby even said it on RTE coverage. The lack of a natural front runner didnt help also the mistake i think at 4 out.

Was travelling beautifully and just about to get into the race when ploughing through a fence.
No horse can recover from those and win Grade 1s.

Might be seen to better effect over 2m 4f - not the biggest though and could be VPU like. Gutsy small horse has had two tough races - might not fancy it next season.

think the horse is over rated. i was lumpy ew in the queen mum, but think maybe it is more suited to big weights in handicaps rather than levels in conditions races
