cruise d 20 Apr 13:06 I'm going for an outsider in the champion today in Cornas. I really quite fancy Cornas to run a big race, it came 4th with 11st8 in the last at the festival beating the 5th home that day Tartak by 7 lengths with 2lbs more on board. Tartak got to within 2 lengths of Forpaddy at Aintree. That handicap was a really hot one at Chelts and the 2nd French Opera has won a group 2 novice chase since. I'm not saying the form line means that Cornas won't have much to find but I am saying that he should be fresher than the likes of Forpaddy, KK etc and may actually be not that far away from them at his very best. With question marks over the likes of Twist Magic as ever I think Cornas is a decent ew bet. |
