Hi ilwab, that's terrible news, I loved the rogue.. that sucks.
The enigmatic Kennel Hill had McCoy back on top and was the pick at these weights according to official figures. He wasn´t fluent early on and had been niggled along for some way before eventually being pulled. It later transpired he had sustained a fracture and sadly his racing days could be over. ^Taken from race analysis of last race at Chelt^ RIP fella. |

Actually now I feel angry. They completely over raced him, bast ards.

I started a thread the night before the race stating he was being over raced. Dont think one reply agreed.
Most suggested make hay whilst the sun shines in a poor race. Fact was it was his 18th race in almost bang on a year Sad really but the trainer is one that seems to do this to lots of his horses. Whens William Hoggarth next out? |

By:
It was a happy release for the horse with the floggings it got at the track every day it ran

Sad news. I too couldn´t understand the trainer sending it out again so soon after it had so many hard races competing against clearly better horses. KH clearly had ability and the trainer said that it was the best he had ever had, which makes it even more surprising that they should stick him out again in what was a typical end of season nothing race. He could have made a lovely chaser imo.

Very sad.
A likeable little rogue but he had an engine somewhere in him, shame he raced so much considering he had ability to earn enough for connections. |
