That horse is really talented. Has an air about him ,so you never know. Horses are like teenagers at this age and growing and maturing at all rates.
Given a lead and the breaks ( obviously loves the rail ) I can't write him off.

First instincts are that he can still go close at Newmarket. Not sure about to win though. Dick Turpin was trained for yesterday's race, Canford was trained to come on from it. Need to see the replay as only saw it once in real time, but he didn't seem to me to be stopping but rather was probably beaten by a fitter horse on the day.

Sometimes when a horse veers like that ,there could be a muscle problem.

Yep, that is a problem. Interesting to read the post race analysis where Hughes reckoned if he comes through horses later on in the Guineas itself it might alleviate that, but I'm not 100% convinced and it has to be a slight worry.

Don't give him much chance in the 2000 Guineas but could have a serious chance of winning the July Cup as mentioned above. No chance of staying a mile on the evidence of his races so far in my opinion.

It happened in France, I think this is when he hits the wall,6f I reckon his max may get a mile at GR2 only.

Could be another Dayjur, who was beaten in the Free Handicap over 7f., bypassed the 2,000 guineas, went on to dominate in Group 1 sprints.

He certainly leaves the gates like a speedster.

Canfords cliff's best days are behind it. Might be a decent sprinter but might also just be an average 7furlong horse. Its miling days are over imo
