I've got used to the lucky last race with him but we've even had a lucky last fence today (not for me as it happened)

Finally saw Souter Point challenging on the line. Absolutely fu cking hopeless!

Earlier in Souter Points race he spout some **e about Rougham being the only danger, as Alhaque came to lead on the stand side! He is a shambles of a commentator.

He never mentinoed the second (who looked the winner at the last) until the race was over

Peace Corps battling on.....finnished last.

i may be wrong but im sure in the veterans race he said "long run to the next as they were about 50yrds from the fence!??"

all the above correct - whats weird about this is that when he first arrived on the scene he was the best thing since..... now he makes GG and the loop that is the Thommentary look the business.

A total emarrassment to the commentating fraternity...

Peter O'S was retiring - and Crocc rather 'fell into the job' -

as the BBC alternatives were nasal John Hamner, or'Julian Wilson, who always sounded frightened to death during commentary.

Lots of "looming" and "rangeing(?) up" to "grab the lead" today.....as ever

Has anyone heard him do a 5f commentary lately? that would surely be a car crash commentary.

he was the best racecourse comm in the early 90's..end off..clearly going downhill now but was once very good

out deeper on the track.......

sadly gone at the game ...he was a great but father time has raced up and left him toiling in his wake ...tailed off and should be pulled up and dismounted and retired .

Great caller, tireless charity worker, and from what i've heard quite a handful in the sack.
