Scoop - don't want to sound thick but what is the point of travelling to Thirsk then Donny paying £20 a head to get in (each time) plus drinks (at Cheltenham Thursday and the beer was AWFUL) and food when you can stay at home, probably get a better price on here and enjoy the rest of your day with your family (assuming you have one)

Got a wife and 2 kids mate, but its something i like doing when i get the chance, its manic and it makes the blood pump all day long. I am sure there are plenty on here who would like to do it..
Even though its not to far Mr D i think Notts is out the question, you are spot on nowt like seeing the horse you are backing in the flesh. it will cost us a couple of hundred, but its better than losing a couple of grand if the horse is not right... |

Scoop - agree about looking at a horse - backed Banjaxed on Thursday because of the way it looked. Just seems such a pain hurtling between race courses on a lovely day - but I suppose if it pays you have to put the work in - good luck and have a great and stress free time
