Fallon said it himself in the interview with Nick Luck and I quote,

they (the hospital) gave me a shot of morphine (cos he was in pain) and I felt great then !

If the pain was bad enough to need morphine, surely not healed enough to ride today , or is he on pain killers to ride ?

I hope he's ok today, sportsmen don't use drugs so have a really low tolerance.

Dunno but he said it was only muscle that was hurting and it was iced and he had a swim etc and ok now !
