Bullwhip, then.

Looked very impressive but time was pretty slow even allowing for g/s ground.

Even though this is a G3, it's being contested by arguably 3 G1 horses and it's quite a jump from maiden form to beating G1 animals,

I nearly got sucked in by the impression he left but the facts tell a different story !

If the time was slow that could make it even more impressive.

Cider

end of the day, he couldn't have been more impressive and you can only beat what's in front of you blah blah.

I am not saying he won't win or he may not be better than the others but the fact remains, he did it against other maidens.

I remember a filly of Henry Cecil's a few years back, name finished with gris or something like that, who won her maiden on the bridle by about 10 lengths at HQ and I thought it'd be a world beater and was gonna back it against whatever it ran against,

didn't win another race imo !

Couldn't have been much more visually impressive but if it was a slowly run affair the way he pulled away could give it more merit.
I'm not really bothered about the beaten horses in these types of races.

CC was too good at two for mine to guarantee he will be as good if not better in classic season. I feel he is too short so lay and place lay and a few buttons on Bullwhip at the prices.

The thing that is mightily against you is, the form of Hannon's stable and if he is to be believed that CC is the best of the lot, then ...
Report Cider April 17, 2010 12:15 PM BST
He could well be :)
My instinct is that we may well have seen the best of this one already. Even if he romps home I'll be happy that I made the right play at the probabilities.
