Met Lydia well before she was famous on a racecourse and we were together in a small group for most of the day. Great day's racing it was. She was pleasant, down to earth, no airs and graces. She was beginning to make her way in the industry at that point. This is well over 10 years ago and she won't remember me at all. I can only say now I'm glad she's made such a success of herself.

Did he not used to be on ATR in the early days? Always seemed a good lad. Steve Rider is the nicest man in sport imo just ahead of Steve Davis. Yes he was on the original ATR.....it was usually Sundays when he was on....when they reviewed the weeks racing sitting on sofas. |
