Race wasn't run to suit, wasn't likely to be either.

Was it possible that the reason for the drift was just layers fighting each other to lay it in the knowledge the horse is much better with more cut in the ground.......ground drying up rapidly under the sun and all that.

No financial interest in the race, but that horse would have won if the jockey had tried.
