Doesn't help when the jockey persists with a rail run when he should have pulled to the outside.

I don't understand when a horse needs a fast pace such as the fav dis and there isn't one, why don't they go and make the running themselves?? Surely its better than sitting off a dawdle and having to sprint to last 2 furlongs.

Think you can add that to the growing tally of "not well ridden" .

His horses are running really well with the best ones yet to come , i would take that from his runners so far ,

The leader threatened to hang off the rail all the way up the straight and eventually did. If TQ had pulled out and been carried wide you would be saying why didn't he stay on the rail. Fact.

Everyone knows the best place to challenge with a late run at Pontefract is down the outside and the worst is up the inside. Is it too much to expect Tom Queally to know this too??
