I went to a Ladbrokes racing event at Newmarket some years ago & Thommo was the guest speaker. He was not as bad in person as he is on tv.
Jamie Osborne served me & my mate a pint once when we went down to Newbury & stayed in a pub/hotel owned by Tony McHoy's former driver. He seemed ok in person. The pub/hotel was changing hands & was not open. Can't recall how we got to stay in there. |

Lincoln time, they were interviewing the jockey (can't remember who, Dwyer perhaps) when Osborne came over and pulled him away by the arm and when the interviewer asked him for a comment, he just turned his back and walked away, there was a 30 second meltdown in the forum ! |
