I have often wondered all the grade 1 courses(except Ascot which is ATR+Turf TV,confusion?) made their decisions to align themselves to RUK.Or,conversely,how the others opted for ATR.There are a few non grade1,like Warwick,Catterick,Bangor,that are with RUK,but I wonder what led to the choice.More importantly who finished with the better deal.
I think RUK is a co-op for its courses and ATR just pays the tracks. Presumably if RUK floats on the stock market at some point racing will do very well.

Its the Sun v The Daily Mail isn't it. How on earth SIS can find people 2 sit in the booth for 16 hours a day as Chappers used 2 do is beyond me! Oh and he was also Dazzlers agent. What kind of Coffee was he drinking? ;)

You have got to look at who owns the racecourse, I think a lot of the atr courses have a lot of shared ownership with atr! So when atr boast about paying money to the racecourses they are being a little bit**
