diddles - Almost every manager I meet bets. I usually only meet the manager when the minimum wage eye candy sees a bet of over £100 on a horse and calls him.
The last manager I met who had a clue worked in my local bookies.
( He bet the horses I bet )
I walked into my local ( nearest ) bookies with approx £250 in my pocket just after my team had won ( BIG WIN AGAINST LEAGUE LEADERS ).
I was drunk and clearly so.
I walked out of the bookies with approx £5000
Just pure luck!
2 Days later on the Monday they refused to take a bet from me of £5 win ( my mums bet ) on a 7/2 shot?
I don't think I moved any odds on the Saturday and after the Monday, I never entered the shop again.
( It is now closed and up for sale )
I have never seen that manager since the Monday. ( No bets from him! Instructions from management apparently )
