terrible terrible news
Carly passed away christmas eve ( only 26 years of age ) RIP Carly i will sadly miss you
just recieved the sad message from Carlys father today
he promised his daughter Carly to carry on putting the ratings up to fulfill her obligations to her memebers untill the end of march
hes now found it the right time to let all her members know Carly passed away christmas eve
i didnt even know she was ill so very very sad
hope you and the rest of the family are coping with the loss of a family memeber
my deepest sympathy goes out to you all
Carlys father asked me to let her many friends on the betfair forum know what as happened
im in shock at the sudden death of a forum member at such a young age ( only 26 years of age )

As has been said it must be the classic HR forum thread. A lot of very regular posters from 2008 are on the first couple of pages. Most of them long gone. Or are they ?

Sad sad news, and bc was totally taken in by it, seemed to be trembling as he wrote the opening post. I'm still gutted to be honest!
Carley turned out to be a dog, and ran a ratings site(cgr ratings) or something very similar!
Carly was a young woman who ran a tipping line. Unfortunately she didn't exist. The whole thing was run by her Dad,who for some reason decided to kill her off. A few people sussed it out. The guy confessed and said Carly did exist. She was his dog.
That's it in a nutshell with no added names and no comment on bc's place in this,which is a matter of dispute on which I have no opinion.

Apparently it was Carley not Carly. I don't remember her at all tbh though a lot of people I know/knew obviously did.

There'a whole chunk of the thread gone missing brween 8th Feb and the 13th when the fraud was exposed by a couple of guys who spotted something fishy.
