I don`t think so. A/w is a different surface to dirt. If you watch any American racing you will see races pan out differently. A/w is too new in the US to draw any conclusions imo.

Southwell is fibresand not dirt. The other English tracks are polytrack. The US synthetic surfaces are different again. Fibresand is definitely more suited to soft ground turf horses than polytrack, but it`s not something to rely on invariably.
