Would Ruby have won on Big Fella Thanks?

No, horse was outstayed

no ran a great race travelled well unfortunately doesnt stay

No. Was given an excellent ride and every chance.

No

No he would never had beaten AP MCCOY in a finnish.

no, he not at his best anyway......... lot short price fave he rides gettin f..kt

horse went 14 to 12 when ruby was injured.

there endeth the "greatest jockey" argument.

Now if Richard Johnson had been riding it...

No. Was given superb ride by Geraghty - he doesn't quite stay (2nd time now it has faded and was completely legless on run in).

Barry gave him a perfect ride I thought, the horse simply ran out juice, simple as.

Looked to be travelling well though, maybe Ruby would have been able to conserve more energy over the jumps with his perfect technique?

Doubt it with a broken arm.
