Has to defy the over 11st1lb. trend but only by 3lbs. Certainly has the class to overcome that, There is a lot of nonsenese being talked about The Package and Big Fella Thanks. One is simply too inexperienced the other isn't good enough for the weight he's carrying. Snowy Morning has a squeak though two attempts have shown him to probably be not good enough. However he's dropped a lot in the weights since last year and 10 isn't a bad age for the National. You can forget the rest of the top ten in the betting as having too much weight relative to class.

The only ones who have got in off winnable marks are Niche Market, Snowy Morning and Arbor Supreme. Arbor Supreme may have needed to wait another year to take his best chance in this race, so I keep coming back to Niche Market as the best bet. If he doesn't win and Snowy Morning doesn't improve on previous efforts then I think we could be looking at a big priced lowly weighted horse, but its hard to make a case for any of them.

I wouldnt put you off it, good shout for today. Would back it, but already at my selection limit for the national.

The case against Niche Market is that he has only won twice, both times right-handed and both times carrying a light weight.
