I suppose once it is up and running, the overheads are not huge. There was a guy who used to post on general betting who ran his own exchange and was quite happy to tick over matching several thousand per day but the new Gambling Commission licensing structure made it unviable to continue.
The initial investment must have been quite sizeable on advertising alone for wbx though. Quite apart from development costs.

Im not surprised, I opened an account with them and they refused my free bet for not putting in a promo code (my fault, although there was no promo code with the advert I seen). Emailed them and had a snotty reply so I replied and told them to shut the account and they would not have one penny of my business. Feck 'em
