I think this horse has a big chance in a race lacking any real depth. The top 2 in the market are obv dangers and Halo needs to step up but I think this trip will suit and @ 5/1 is a rock solid e/w shot tomw....
I dont neccesarily agree that he needs a step up in trip, i believe hes just not quick enough to win the top level 2m hurdles, I dont think he fully stays 2m4 and feel stepping up in trip just because he isnt quick enough is a mistake.
Having said that where do you go with him ? Arkle route according to Nicholls next year....

Its a fair point and he does have to improve it's form but at the prices and with the ?? over the top 2 (trip and form etc) I think CH can take this as the winner imo, comes from the one of the top 3 in the market...

i think theyv lost faith in celestial halo . owner trainer and particularly ruby has never really spoke of it highly . stewart always going on saying hes not good enough and nicholls the same

CH was Gd gd/sft so dont think ground is an issue for KK.
Should stay, need to have a bit of stamina to come 2nd in Champ Hurdle was still running on up the hill.

All good points fella's thanks...I am just trying to weigh this all up as on all known form it's between the top 3 and I thought CH was a great e/w price......maybe not??!

I keep watching the champ hurdle and KK pulls away from Zaynar up the hill, easily puts 4 lengths between them after jumping the last.
Hope Celestial sets good pace for him tomorrow, then can sprint away from the going to the last.

Everything points to Zaynar, trip is perfect, he oozes class. The race will be set up for him. His two main opponents have not shown any sign that they can stay the trip. Ive been trying to find reasons not to lump on Zaynar but cant.
Unless lightning can strike twice with Quwetwo..

Zaynar has looked like a horse wanting extra distance, a staying chaser of the future. The ground won't be a problem. Quwetwo is such a big horse that I can't think the faster ground will help him. I think KK was trained to the minute for the CH like Imperial Commander so I'd swerve him. Celestial Halo has let me down once too often. I can't see anything but Zaynar winning with maybe an outsider like Muirhead placing.
