I stayed at a place just off the main line about 2 km from Paris, easy to get to the centre of town. its wasnt bad at all

there is one on Rue Oberkampf Hami....very good but forgot the name,,,funky streett as well...bars cafes clubs...yep.

centre of Paris as well...brilliant.

Try second bordello in Montmartre.
