Simple case of supply and demand - While ever there are people stupid enough to pay these ridiculous prices, they will continue to charge them.

The additional £1 for a slice of processed cheese is extremely funny imo.

Would be interesting to find out from catering outlets just exactly what they are paying to Aintree for the dubious honour of standing at the track. I'm inclined towards the view that this is the main reason behind the ludicrous prices.

£4.50 for a steak pie - and it was bobbins. have to say though all staff were pleasant, polite and cheerful. Parked on steeplechase car park and back on m57 within 5 mins so 10/10 for organisation.

If you factor in the 'insurance' payments to local villains (shame if you had a chip fat fire 'ar kid) prices not unreasonable.

Absolute undisputed fact. The greed of racecourses has no bounds, they are one and all a shower.

I would be pretty pleasant selling something for £4.50 that cost me 20p too.

Signs everywhere at Chepstow entry points.. 'NO FOOD OR DRINK TO BE TAKEN BEYOND THIS POINT'... I wonder why?
Is it the same elsewhere?
Will you get arrested if they find a pork pie in your binocular case?
