Pistolet Noir - apprecaite step back up in trip, down a few lbs in the h'cap, happy with the horse for the 1st time since he went to Pumpkin.

Sanctuaire - big chance, Super Kenny most feared. Improved mentally and physically since the FW.

WAF - aimed at this since Lexus. Best fresh. Good a shape as ever. Track and drying ground will suit.

nicholls doesnt normally do well at aintree but i think hes in for a very good week this week. famous last words eh thell probly all be beat now

Is it safe to assume he said good things about Chapoturgeon, considering the price ?

i wouldnt give chapotourgen any chance in that race. dodgy jumper and think going faster hell be on the deck

That's what I thought Graeme.. but Nicholls has under played quite a lot of his horses this season that went on to win.. Taranis.. Beshabar.. Escort'men he even tipped Chapo against Poquelin in the Boylesports. So either the horse hasn't fired yet or he hasn't progressed as they expected. Tricky race anyway, if the ground turns out to be good then I really fancy Pepsy Rock, has to have good ground.
