Diddles drew our/my attention to Silver Gypsy,I had a look at it,saw PP,watched it get backed from 20's to 8's,thought it worth a bet. The bumper horse today,I read he wasn't backing it,so neither did I. Simples.........so I don't know why you lot can't work it out ! :) |

I think i said i though it would be won by an unraced horse - i was wrong ther ok. and i said the swinbank newcommer was very well bred (has a flat pedigree) and looked the likely winner- then when asked if it was my money that shifted it i said I dont back horses on betfair often. the liquidity on a midweek bumper was poor and that anyone with 2 grand could move the market and lay back at a margin.
Im not betfairs best customer ok My rate is 4% that proves it. I use betfair as a guide and to lay off when im 50% in front of price for big bucks ok.And sometimes if im 5 legs with one to run on a jackpot I assure you if i wished i could move any horse 5 points on a midweek bumper 30 mins before theoff . with exception of the major meetings. then lay them back at a margin on the off. But i dont as its not my game. The money available on here at times is a joke. I think betfair need to recruit more layers and assist them with minus 1% commission rates |
