Anyone got any links to sites selling Racecards, in particular, Ayr Gold Cup, Scottish National and Cheltenham Festival cards.

Tried e bay with mixed success to be honest, and an online shop called Browzers near Manchester seems to have had the same stock for ages and ages.

Any other ideas would be most welcome.

In the 80 I had some time on my hands and went to see an Artist from the Leicester area, who painted a 4f x 3f Montage consisting of the map of the country with every gold members badges in there rightful place on the map. surrounding the map was 6 of the most popular horses flat and NH.
It was photographed and produced small prints sold for the benefit of the Archie Scott Benevolent Fund.200 limited edition.
When the Fund ended with the closure of the Midland Joint Pitch Committee the montage was given to Cheltenham Museum.

Were it can be seen the list of badges is one of the few full sets of racecourse badges in existence

Workrider - your story reminded me of one I often tell myself to collectors/owners of racing memorabilia.

The following Arkle memorabilia is are valued at £5 or less - Arkle's blanket, horseshoe. lock of hair (mane or tail), photograph etc etc.

The only Arkle items worth money are the Killsallaghan letters describing and accompanying the above items. Provenance is king.
