im keeping my gunpowder dry But i can tell u I know nothing about Sizing Irish-- except The Horse is a 25k euro buy from goffs it belongs to a top 5 Irish owner- and its entered in the punchestown Champion Bumper - Oh yes and its trained by the best trainer of bumper horses this side of the irish sea-- Its running at a venue that rarely puts on ultra competitive bumpers- The jockey is top class on young horses and Hendersons bumper horses are on fire. IS THAT OK CHAPS ?

I think this is the first horse Henderson has trained for Alan Potts - so id be surprised if its not running for its life. But im waiting till the Paintings finished - then i'll let you know

Careful. This could be being used as a prep race for the next race this horse has an entry in.23Apr10 5:30 (Early closer) at Punchestown, Rabobank Champion Hurdle (Grade 1)
Hi Lozzy Pls explain ur comment - why careful ? - do you mena they just want to give it a run (not necessarily all out) to get warmed up for the grade 1 ?

Diddles, Just looked at the race, I think Mourad could outstay DP, Mourad should have won last time, Ruby sat too far back (looking**y), & was closing on WOA with every stride, a bit further & would have won, seems the further the better, though has to prove that.
The last twice it has been held up which seems to suit the horse, the times before it has led & been passed, I think it needs to come as late as possible, obviously not as late as last time! Ground doesnt seem to be an issue & getting weight could just nick it.
Donnas palm, ground is ok but might be best at 2 miles, its ran over 2.5m twice, well beaten 1st time & won a ordinary race 2nd time in a very slow time, so jurys still out for me, trainer form is also a worry, DP has beaten Mourad over 18f but couldnt see the race though as to what happened, very foggy.
Both have got ( look at me) jockeys, I can see them holding on until the last minute, what ever happens its going to be a close race, good luck.

Reading between the lines Diddles......................you fancy DONNAS PALM and SIZING IRELAND.
Personally I think SIZING IRELAND will wipe that field out. It looks a weak race.

mourad will take the beating imo . beat by war of attrition last time but woa ran alot better than his finishing position suggested went off too quick and made all the running and was there 2 out

Yeh not so convinced about Donnas, stables out of form, usually backing out of form stables is the quick route to the poorhouse. We'll see...............
Also I know Diddles fancies TELEMOR in the I.National. Howver, this has drifted faster than a log down the rapids this mrning from about 12s to 18s. Has the ground gone against it?

cheers well im convinced -- but Ladbrokes are holding firm -- they either know I dont or they want to publicise their race -- they have fierce competition in ireland - with PPantsdown an Boiledover

Anytime Apologist. Still worried about my cat. The bloke I mortaged it to was a fur salesman and he was just sharpening up his knives as I left with the readies.

Hi diddles.....criticism aside I read your thread this morning when you considered 11/10 a very good price.I didnt intend to get involved but when I went to the race and saw that DP was drifting so alarmingly I decided to have a bet on the winner. That the winner won by 12 lengths is irrelevent...with DP drifting so badly and the stable being out of form it was obvious to me that DP would NOT WIN. All I can say is better luck with Sizing Ireland and dont let negative comments get to you.
