the bairn it as going so well that it was 250/1 in running having almost been brought down on the 2nd circuit but dont take my word for it just take a look at youtube 1967 and follow the horse round,Black white sleeves hooped cap and come back when you are convinced my friend

If so you cannot guarantee to be a loser in gambling as it would mean that you believed things that you had seen with your own eyes was un true. I loved Gifford also but I still could see that having been backed fom 50/ 1 to 15/2 he had already lost when the leaders jumped the 23rd fence. If we take Foinavon out of the race Honey End would have been the luckiest winner in racings history. and that don't make sence. Please do as I say look at the tape. cubone |

tbh, such mayhem in the race couldn't be certain what would have transpired - I can remember yelling at the telly for fence after fence as it crept inexorably closer until, nearly hoarse, my mum was wondering just how much had I had on it and why wasn't I giving het more "keep" !

the unlucky horse i believe was red alligator ,who went on to win the national next year...he suffered more interfference than H N ,twice being seriously obstructed in that race whilst H N got away relatively lightly....red al finished third and then won a year later....i believe this poor old boy ended his life in the slaughter house??

I thought my grandpa who fought through the battle of the Somme and survived was a GIANT He gave me his trench coat, to put on my bed, to keep me warm when we lived in a 1 bedroom flat in the brummie slums. However when I tried his coat on when a lad of 12, Ii saw he must have been only 4ft 6 inch, So I will allow you to be a believer and God Bless you, Cubone |
