I'm in East Midlands though 50 mins from Towcester. We were forecast a pretty dry night but when I was out with the dog at 11pm before putting her to bed it was lashing down & did so for quite a while. If Towcester got that on top of heavy ground they could be in trouble. Seems the showers were localised and heavy so its down to luck I suppose.
