As far as I know.
Big leap of faith, though

He's on a big drift at The Curragh, from 4/5 to 6/4. Doomed?

Almost last. Schooling in public. The public were conned!

surprised to see him running aidan usually goes straight to newmarket
Report brandyontherocks March 28, 2026 7:44 PM GMT
Not had a run since May, so understandable to give him a stretch before Newmarket.

See the size of the head on him?! LaughLaugh

Speaking at a public workout at the Curragh on Sunday, the trainer also offered an update on his 2,000 Guineas squad following Albert Einstein's surprise defeat on Saturday, with Gstaad, a top-priced 7-1 chance for the Classic, partnered by Ryan Moore in his work.

If Albert Einstein does not go to Newmarket, Ballydoyle will still be responsible for at least one big contender, with Group 1 winners Gstaad and Puerto Rico in the mix.
O'Brien added on Sunday: "Ryan was riding Gstaad this morning and he had it in his head that he could be the horse for Newmarket. Obviously, Puerto Rico is there, and we'll see how they come out of the work and see how Albert Einstein is as well.
"I'd imagine Ryan picked to ride Gstaad because he's thinking of him for Newmarket, but we'll see how the next couple of weeks go."

what is a bit of a concern is aob saying "he was so far ahead of the others  at home that we thought  the others might be no good " well peurto rico gstaad among others proved to be group class so what he says muddies  the waters a bit ,they wont gun em at home and some dont show a lot till they get on to the racecourse . id guess theyd work em in small groups 4 or 5 at a time steady canters building up to a stronger gallop but not pushing them out ,  from aidens body language he is very doubtfull albert is a miler imo .the" lads " think different and they may be right . if push comes to shove id side with aidens opinion.

just seen aiden talking about albert einstein says he was way ahead of the others at home last season over 4f ^^^^
Report impossible123 April 5, 2026 2:24 PM BST
I believe Soba was super-quick over 4f too. Is AOB a horse trainer or does he train greyhounds?

Foyles I’ve questioned that on the other threads going back to Ascot last year, Albert missed it, Darwin was meant to fill his shoes then Gsstaaad showed up.

One thing that bugs me is do they really have that amount of talent in this crop to have three different horses capable of winning the Coventry in the same year?
Darwin was thought to be their runner in that, then in steps Gstaad and wins.

You can add PRico to that crop.

Coolmore is after absolute domination. They'd like to rule in every division on Flat racing.

Charles Darwin was stuffed at Naas. He was not even placed. I did not watch the race. I was watching Fitzpatrick Referrals.
