Always enjoying reading this thread, and well done for those of you continuing it. Best of luck to you all, going forward.
As big jumping fans, why do you, or most of you, default to closing up after Sandown. Does Punchestown hold such little interest? |

I love it Jumper, but I think it’s a long week, and most people are dine in by Sandown. Up to a fortnight ago, I wasn’t doing it, but decided to keep at it. One of my favourite weeks of the year

Crossbar couple days Fab .... Decent place money, your due.
End of a long season Jumper, with plenty of races and a pool of horses not that familiar. 10 minutes each,in a 12 runner race equates to 2 hours study, food for thought. Watering another big factor, times to standard showed a subtle difference already between days 1 and 2. Right handed another factor, far less horses produce their best going that way round,in my opinion. Jockeys another key point, without the sauna's,in warm weather, plenty will be riding dehydrated. Anyone looking at the standard of NH riding in both countries, watch back the Chelt bumper. Colin Keane would have been carrying 3 stone of lead, his riding skill was a class apart. Same rules apply .... Looking for a 4 stringed instrument, popular in Gaelic music, just my take. |
