Doubt they would run him in the Champion on very soft ground.

Delacroix for the Champions Stake is sensible. I think Coolmore likes to take revenge on Ombudsman. But, do not discount Calandagan either. I'm surprised he's 5.5 here.

Will Delacroix win? Not sure, but a very interesting race if all 3 turn up, ground permitting.

Field Of Gold was 1/3 against Rosallion and Henri Mattise in The Sussex. The ground could be good or better too given forecast. No Delacroix or Henri Mattise either. If sound, he'll annihilate the opposition, I believe.

If FoG is truly sound (I've had visions of So Mi Dar) then he'll win. I'd like to see Rosallion win - he deserves one Gp 1 this season - but unlikely though if FoG is fit.
