Well, they did not get it all on but this is the story..

Indonesian rich-kids had started betting that spring in the street bookies opposite Harrods and were losing fortunes in cash.  Their name was c Jananto.
One day they asked for £200k @ 4/1 Dancing Brave.
They didn't get much on at 4/1 but William Hill mouthpiece Graham Sharpe went straight to The Sun and it was on its backpage next day.
Given that these bettors had been knocked back and had their bet splashed over the dailies (and they were not even connected) they were not best pleased.
An intermediary became involved, Dancing Brave was beaten, a cheque for £250,000 went missing and the shop manager lost his job. The old story.
