It's up. Scandinavia is 3.05 here which is generous compared to a best 5/4 with bookies with bricks. However, the $64k question is will he show up?

Is he quick enough? Would he beat Illinois on revised terms?

January was in receipt of less yesterday and couldn’t pull it off….

And if ever there was one that needed headgear she’s one!

I think against his own age group Scandinavia will. I do not think Coolmore will run a filly against their colt here either.

These days betting anteposts is a minefield. It's dominated or hugely influenced by one entity only, with multiple entries for their key charges. Until one's selection actually turns up on the day it's not a given. Even then the entity could pull a fast one eg a switcheroo of tactic.

Aidan O'Brien responsible for 11 of 26 entries in the St Leger as Ballydoyle reveal strong hand for Doncaster Classic

….and folks that’s why the current fav makes zero appeal.

Thanks Jersey it’s nice to have fresh contributors with a view.

What price are you getting?

Delashay   Its locally owned. I have backed it in all 4 of its races, 3 wins and one second with not the clearest of runs, messed around by the other runners from one particular yard.  Will like the extra 2 furlongs or so, on at app 9/1  just need good luck..

Fair play and good luck Jersey Boy I’ve not had a play but wish them all the best and you. The fav looks short to me and 9’s is a decent price *fingers crossed moji

Surely the bet is Lambourn. The Voltigeur was run at a crawl, the horse was just starting back and conceding 3lbs and beaten only three lengths. Scandinavia needed all of the 2 miles at Goodwood to beat Illinois in receipt of loads of weight and this will be much harder. Even Stradivarius couldn’t win the Leger after winning the Goodwood Cup and even money is a shocking price.

With Soumi on board, negative for the fav?

Will I collect? I've either of the front two of AOB.

I can see Barza being put on Stay True, AOB has said not to forget him, with that lot who knows Impossible?!

I’d like to see Jersey boy and the small stable collect, nothing personal to you, like an underdog. Grin

Is Soumi on Lambourn? If so, I can only see Marquand on Scandinavia which is not a negative either. I'll not lay either despite 7/2 antepost for both - only small amounts as a saver. But, the big one is France.

Yes impossible that was on the post and he knows the colt having ridden him back in France at Craon.

I thought it is still undecided who will ride what until a day or so later. This was reported  yesterday.
By:

It’s only undecided for the three unusually he’s said who rides one for sure.

Marquand is on Scandinavia with Levey riding Lambourn and Barzolona on Stay True. It's just been confirmed.
By:

When: 11 Sep 25 12:16
So yet another Lie from AOB saying Soumi would be on Lambourn!
By:

When: 11 Sep 25 13:02
Scandinavia is on the drift. He's out to 13/8 (here) from 5/4. I think it could be ground induced (soft at the moment). Levey won the race last year.
By:
Delashay
When: 11 Sep 25 13:37
It could be due to Lambourn turning up, when Scandinavia being so short ap that was partly due to not knowing where he’d turn up.
He’s also gone for two Leger winnings jocks on the other horses.

Carmers for me hopefully a first classic for Mr. P Toomee.
Pretty harsh on AP lads when he just switched Christophe to Leopardstown. Ye might be better not posting unless ye had something worthwhile to put up. Maybe consider just texting each other.

I’ll still be hoping for the same for JB as the horse doesn’t know that Mr Ignoranus has backed it.
