I keep reading that Asadna was supposed to have put up an outstanding time performance at Ripon. Timeform make it the best pre-Royal Ascot figure by a 2yo in the last 10 years. I find that astonishing as I make it a Gp3 rating at the very best. Obviously decent for a debut performance and of course there could be more improvement to come, but some well overboard statements made about him at this stage, as far as I'm concerned.
