International should be a great race and I hope Mishriff could spoil the party. Have got plenty on e/w three place at 4/1 plus a juicy e/w double running on from Galway (5/1 winner). Same program as last year taking in the Eclipse and King George. This year they got him hard fit for the Eclipse and with more luck / better ride he’d have been an impressive winner. I felt, and expected, that he then bounced slightly in the King George, though as we saw last year he doesn’t stay the trip. Should be in perfect shape for this and his win last year was as impresive as anything Baaeed has done. I’d still have Baaeed as favourite but would have them closer than the bookies.
Dramatised has looked very good but the form of the Burke stable is a worry. Shame as I thought Ouzo might have been a good bet at 20/1+ in the Clipper Logistics.
The Gimcrack looks a cracker if the principals stand their ground.

I,ve been doing a bit of study on this race and reckon baaeed gets beat on wednesday . A lot of people will view only 3 runs and 21 day break perfect , but , I think he was primed for the sussex and a lapse will follow to build for the champion reflecting his 3yo season . Hes only ever been to 3 courses since his debut at leicester and a new course can be unsettling as he dont know it . His last run when massively fancied 1-6 on was workmanlike and underwhelming to me . Hes travelling to a new course , a new distance and not been as impressive as before . I reckon native trail has everything in his favour for wednesday I,ll be surprised if he doesnt win . Best of luck with your selection

No doubt Baaeed is a very good horse. To me his greatest scalp was Palace Pier. How good was Palace Pier? Certainly no Frankel or Dancing Brave. As good as Warning perhaps. Maybe not Almanzor either.
Baaeed has a lot to prove. If Mishriff could get an even break he'd be given a race over 10f, I hope. This season there's been no ultra great performance by any horse possibly with the exception of Little Brave Bear. Even this beast needs to prove his last scintillating run was no flash in the pan.
Any rain hit the racecourse? Anyone?
