Shorties (York Festival)

I have been laying St Marks B at evens and shorter.
There could be opposition running against him.
Pyledriver:  Intended runner, according to William Muir and Ascot on Sky, Saturday.
Mishriff:  Will be better back at 1m2f.  If he wasn't fully fit in the Eclipse, he will be now.
Alchohol Free is a probable runner who looks like she could be atleast as good at this distance.

There is just enough probable opposition to make St Marks an odds against favourite.

High Definition looks like he needs a step up in trip, and the Voltigeur could be a stepping stone to the St Leger.  But I'll put up a lay of 70.0 to £10 if you want until midday tomorrow.

Snowfall looks at the top of her game at the moment and just seems to run for fun, so I won't be laying that one at York!  Autumn could be different though.

Is High Definition in the Leger? He'd be supplemented (I think), but I thought AOB indicated his next race would be a prep for the Arc. Wishful thing perhaps.

St Mark's Basilica vs Mishriff. A reversal of Eclipse result on probable prevailing good to soft or better ground next week? Unlikely to me, but it's horseracing.

A sounder surface will not hinder Stradivarius, but certainly Trueshan. The latter may not even turn up!

I assumed High Definition would have been entered for the Leger (given that he seems to have stamina, but, on checking, he isn't there.  So this couldn't be AOBs plan at the moment.
