Aye ... Not too difficult to spot,he also got hampered at a crucial point on the final bend.
Despite that,the ex president was able to continue his knitting all the way to the line,finnishing in the desired position.Stable have a few qualified already,time will tell where he sits in the pecking order. Frodon,Minella,Delta .... Arguably all have underperformed following that Down Royal race. That looked a proper test at the time,Galvin seems to have come on a bundle.All the talk since has been about others needing the run that day,I,m not so sure,was it Galvin under-cooked? Great position Fab .... Just need him to get there fit and well,lovely horse,fingers crossed. Not been a great day personally .... Son lives with us,he tested positive for Covid via Lateral Flow this afternoon. His girlfriend tested positive xmas morning,we have all been testing daily since,not been out etc. I,m pretty sure one or both of us will be positive next couple days. Mrs Noc never misses an opportunity though .... "You,ve been isolating,and shouting,with that computer since boxing day anyway" Got to love it. |

Higher turnover of horses,smaller points scale,based on the betfair sp.Evident that it can work,but not throughout the season,it has been holding its own only where bigger fields/higher liquidity prevails. The other problem .... It has that scattergun look to it,can also be more time consuming,Facts picked up on it last season a few times,very different to my selection strategy a few seasons back. Time for a mid season re-think,gets like that sometimes,any thoughts welcome. |

January isn't the worst time for a break and a re-think if it's needed, you've been picking some winners mind noc.
I have some rules I try and stick to, but I'm not one for systems personally, but whatever works should be followed until it doesn't work. |
