Hi Noc/Mac. Unlucky yesterday Mac, I was willing him home too, just needed a few more yards.

Yeah, getting a good wear out of the Frodon jammies lol. I bet him for The Ryanair before his Cheltenham win at 33’s, and once he won that day, I think that was my Ryanair bet gubbed. I topped up at 95’s on here anyway. Probably a waste of money, they’ll surely go for gold, with a Ryanair already in the bag. I think I’ll cover him for Gold Cup soon. The decision is when to bet, as I don’t think his price will shorten dramatically, unless.............there’s an Irish Travel Ban. All about timing.

There’s no just ice in the moat today, but plenty of snow as well. I’m in Motherwell, which is about an hour either side of Ayr and Musselburgh. Not seen too many alarm bells for their meetings though, but there must be concern. Really hoping Musselburgh survives

For me The ground is key with Frodon, he's worth laying in any race if its soft, he must have g/s or better to be at his best. He's now proven he is good enough to be competitive in a GC. Will he stay the trip? Not many Network Geldings are known for staying, apart from Yala Enki I guess but you never know until you try. If its genuine good ground that would help him stay, plus he is a few lbs better on that surface for me.

Can he win the GC? The form of last years GC is pretty poor, so Frodon can hold his own with that lot, I'd be more concerned whether he can beat the new lot, MI, APT, Champ etc.

He'll be 9 next year, it's now or never.
