After the trials before the Derby last year a Coolmore manager, whose name I've forgotten was asked which one of AOBs batallion was the colt most likely for the Derby. Without hesitation "At this moment it HAS to be Anthony van Dyck" he said. After the Derby  he raced only in group 1 races in different parts of the world with mixed fortunes and has been kept in training this year. He started off with a great 2nd behind record breaking Ghaiyyath at Nmkt and now he has the opportunity to frank his group 1 status. Bet of the day for me..
